Staying at Poco Loco Lodge tonight for the first time. It is a diamond in the rough! The staff/owners, I assume, are super friendly. Rooms were especially clean. Bathroom and shower were clean, nice hot water. Nice shower with good water pressure. AC works great and the room was cool when we arrived even though we didn’t have a reservation. We’ve stayed at other places in town and Poco Loco is far more cozy and clean. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini fridge. Kuerig and pods in the room as well. And cable tv. Highly recommend. Will be staying here again.
Anywhere here is right off the beach. But you don't get the customer service you get here. Cute treat baskets, fridge with drinks stocked, after hours shower, they thought this place through. The room I get feels like I'm in a guest bedroom at my friend's house or an air bnb not a hotel. Affordable! cute! clean!!! IIf you stay here and rate it a 1 you're out of your mind!!
My wife and I decided to get away for a couple of days. She loves nature and I love fishing. We were looking for a place that wasn't so far from home in Houston and stumbled upon the Poco loco Lodge in Port O'Connor Texas. This is a cute, kitchy, amazing little spice. While staying here, I felt like I was a guest in the owner's home. The rooms were bright and beautiful especially if you like bright colors, the decor was something I'd never seen before, and can't wait to see again. Each room has a little kitchenette, they stock the fridge with complimentary beverages and the kitchen has complimentary snacks. They had everything I needed to make my fishing trip more successful, a big old ice machine, a vacuum sealer if I needed it, And even a little guide book with great places to fish. The motel is pet friendly and you can drive right up to your room. I can't recommend this place enough! The location is pretty good. The only reason that I give the location 4 stars is that there is not much of a beach view, but you are only few feet from the water.
Wonderful lodge in POC. This was my first time staying here while celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends. Central location. The management is so friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
Awesome and I mean awesome place to stay in POC. Best place in town for the price. Great beds, utilities, and bathroom. The AC was set perfectly when we got here and the free snacks and drinks are just the cherry on top. For sure will be staying again. I

A really great place to stay. Rooms were small but clean, our bathroom had just been updated. The overall facility was clean and they have a great set-up for cleaning your boat. Everything they say on the website is accurate. They leave snacks in your room too. Location is is nice- about 6 blocks from Clark's boat launch/bait shop and 3 bocks from a Mexican restaurant. They definitely earned the 4-star review on this stay! Jun 1, 2013
A well kept, no hassle, cozy place to stay. The staff are very courteous even printing off some personal documents and placing in the room for me while I was in route. Really enjoyed everything about our stay. We are Poco Loco fans now .
